- Two swords - the number of weapons the disciples had near the time of Jesus's arrest (Luke 22:38)
- Two criminals were crucified either side of Jesus (John 19:18, etc)
- Two angels who sat where Jesus' body had been, one at the head, one at the foot (John 20:12)
(Also, two days - the time Jesus stayed with the Samaritans and that he waited before going to Lazarus (John 4:40, 11:6))
